The East of England Water Partnership provides leadership and joins together spatial and water planning processes for the effective management of water resources, considering the environment and the quality of life of people living in the East of England, whilst helping to steer the growth agenda.
Sustainability East provide the secretariat service for the partnership and it is chaired by the Environment Agency. The group has a technical working group and a group of associated stakeholders with an interest in sustainable water resources.This Partnership runs under a voluntary agreement with a strong commitment by the partners in the East of England to tackle the challenge of sustainable growth. A main focus of the Partnership is helping to deliver the Water Resources East Anglia (WREA) project.
The partnership is made up of representatives from the water companies and associated organisations such as the Environment Agency, Natural England and the Consumer Council for Water.
