Valuing Ecosystem Services Project - Phase 2 Local Pilots

 

Sustainability East, on behalf of a range of partners, invites tenders for two projects that will test the Ecosystem Approach (ESA) as a decision making tool at the local level through two pilots. 

 

The projects will seek to identify whether the ESA can be used effectively as an appraisal method and develop transferable tools which can be used by decision makers and strategy developers to help embed sustainable development.  The projects will include public dialogue elements. 

 

This work will build on detailed work previously undertaken to assess whether the ESA can be applied at local levels in the East of England. Closing date for tenders is Noon Thursday 9th September 2010
